humble uptown

There are few things as charming as a favorite moment captured on film.  Unstaged.  Unexpected.  Snapshots are adorable and often tell a story.  Your story.  I love them so much.  When the humble snapshot gets grouped with other humble snapshots...well, the look is not very humble at all.  When displayed in groups; some orderly, others more organic, the look is very chic and polished but with a warm, earthy undertone.

All of these spaces are so welcoming.

Where did the day go?

Seriously.  Where did the day go? The girls are spending two glorious days this week in Myakka City doing their most favorite thing...riding horses.  Technically, they both ride ponies, but you get the idea.  They spend the day riding, grooming and enjoying each others' company.  The Farm where they ride has lots of different animals including: a donkey, miniature horse, skunk, pig, goats, chickens, cats, and dogs.  It is truly a little slice of heaven.

These photos, taken by the amazing Robert Dutesco, are among the most beautiful and sensitive photos ever taken. You can learn more here.  The Wild Horses of Sable Island (some of Dutesco's most well-known photos) are currently on view in New York.

And, if these beauties don't fit your budget, there are some gorgeous alternatives available via Etsy from Apples and Oats Photography (available here).

Don't these look beautiful?

Have a great rest of the day!
xoxo
Lisa
